Child Development
"Children do not constitute anyone's property: they are neither the property of their parents nor even of society. They belong only to their own future freedom." -- Mikhail Bakunin
"Children are the future leaders of any society". Another key area of our focus is working towards educating masses about the rights of children and ensuring that children are guaranteed/shielded by the rights they are entitled. By securing the rights of children our aim is to secure the future of the nation. Protection of the rights of the orphan(s), children with special needs, children is also a part of our definition of working to ensure child rights. The protection of minors acquires an important role due to their innocence and the lack of exposure and knowledge about the topics they need to be aware of. While the state is the authority that is vested with powers to ensure the proper enforcement of child rights, NGOs like Chowraasta shall act as the bridge between them.
Founders view:
- Earth has become a much more beautiful place to live in, with one of the wonderful creations of God, none other than CHILDREN. In simple words Kids are the Stars living on the Earth and appeal every moment of our lives.
- There are lot of measures being taken to protect our environment from various factors. Likewise, it is also crucial to restore/safeguard child’s basic rights for their welfare.
- There are many kids who are from backward communities and could not afford for basic needs of food, shelter, water, clothing.
- ChowRaasta would want to dive in these niches and bring in some enlightenment in those kid’s life by providing some basic needs with a motive to arouse interest in education which would help in betterment of their life.
- Children learn by observing, listening, exploring, experimenting and asking questions. So, ChowRaasta would be interested to motivate the children using these learning tools and would like to engage children in those aspects. Learning is crucial for children and is also important to make them understand of why they’re learning something.
